Want to receive Tiger Tracks by e-mail? Follow the steps below to get your electronic version of our school’s newsletter.
1. Log on to ASD online
at http://www.asd.k12.ak.us/ .
2. Click on Learn
More to Create an Account.
Read through the ‘Introducing
MyASD’ page to learn about the system then click on Proceeded
to Registration at the bottom of the page.
3. Type in the information in the data wells on the ‘Create Your Account’ page and choose either HTML or text only as the type of e-mail to receive. We currently are only sending text e-mail, but you can choose either.
4. ‘Confirm e-mail page’ - if the confirmation code is not in the data well you will have to open your e-mail account to get the code from the MyASD Confirmation Code E-Mail which will show up quickly, then type the code in and continue.
5. At the ‘myASD’ page go to the Schools Block and click on Add/Remove School Links.
6. Scroll down and choose Northern Lights Abc. We currently only send e-mail through this account. While you are at it, if you have students in other schools you can add their e-mail notifications at this time also. When done choosing schools click on Return to myASD at the bottom of the page.
7. On the ‘myASD’ page now you will see the schools you have selected. You must click on the box to the right of the school name to receive e-mails.
8. While you are at the ‘myASD’ page you can also select to receive Announcement Lists if you desire.
9. Once you have logged
in, chosen schools, then selected to receive their e-mail you are done.
You can click on Logout at the top right.
Remember your user id and password so you can change from which schools
you receive e-mail as your student progresses through other schools.
