Dear Parents and Students,

Welcome to Ocean View Elementary School. This is a great school with decicated, professional teachers, students eager to learn, and supportive parents.

This hanbook will provide you with valuable information about our school. There is a lot of information here, but please, take the time to read it and discuss is with your child. There is also the supplementary student handbook that goes into greater detail decorum standards. These will be reviewed in class by the teachers the first few days of school.

Ocean View is a community school that offers a balance approach to academics, technology, and the arts. Students' academic progress and safety are of primary importance to us. Both are enhanced by your support. Please keep in touch with your child's teacher and the office throughout the year. Your input is welcome.
