WIZARD
THIS IS HOW WORD WIZARD WORKS:
Mr. Perrins thinks of a
word and gives us clues to guess the word. You may use any resource
to figure out the word. Most use a thesaurus, a dictionary, or
Dictionary.com. As soon as you think you know the
word, write it on a piece of paper with your name on it and put
it in the Word Wizard box on Mr. Perrins' desk. He'll check the
clues throughout the day and will let you know if you have guessed
correctly or not. Guess the word correctly, and you become a
Word Wizard. However, you can not tell anyone else the word.
You can't give them any type of hint. If you do, you will become
a "Word Worm." You will loose the opportunity to become
a Word Wizard for that week. Once you have been named a Word
Wizard, you will be given a small star that you can put up on
the Word Wizard poster. Once you have become a WW five times,
then you will become a member of LITERATI.
