The White Bengal

Sometimes, Bengal cubs are born white, with black stripes. This is called a White Tiger. Only Bengal Tigers have the gene that causes the orange to be white. All White Tigers in the United States originated from a white male cub, captured in India, in 1951. Also, White tigers have blue eyes, while regular tigers have yellow eyes. A normal Tigress can give birth to white cubs. Currently, there are over 100 White Tigers in zoos around the world.
