Pandas

There are two species of pandas in Asia. The two species are the Giant Panda and the Red Panda. The Giant Panda is large and its colors are black and white. It is shaped like a bear. The Red Panda is much smaller than the Giant Panda, and is reddish brown color.

Scientists don't know what family pandas should be in. Some people think that Pandas should belong to the bear family, and others think they should belong to the raccoon family. Lots of people think pandas should be in a family of their own because of there uniqueness.

Both species of pandas eat young bamboo stalks where it is tender. They eat the leaves, stems, and shoots.
