Japanese mythology

In the beginning there was chaos, and out of that chaos there grew a seed. It was proved to be a diety who was called the Eternal-Ruling-Lord. With him there was generated two more dieties, respectively called the High-Producing-god and the Divine-Producing-goddess.{Although not proven they are thought to be married.}

They were followed by a series of other gods and goddesses, who are thought to be couples. All of them were supposed to have ,"special powers," and are said to be ,"hidden."After many of these spontaneous generations there was a couple that were said to be destined to generate many things, and more than their fair share of gods.

These two dieties were sent to this world by ,"command of the celestial dieties," in order to bring things/life to it. When they were going to the planet a drop of saltwater fell from the gods sword creating Japan. In time the planet was populated with creatures and material items, and more gods were created. Then the goddess died and went to Hades. But a curious and foolish god followed her. She then caught him, and the foolish god narrowly escaped with his life.

Having done this she cursed the living things on the planet and vowed to kill one-thousand people regularly. In response a living goddess vowed to make five-hundred more.
