The Persian Gulf War was a result of many long unsolved discrepancies between Iraq and Kuwait. This war started on August 2, 1990 with Iraq's invasion of Kuwait. It ended on March 3, 1991 with Iraq's acceptance of the cease-fire and all of its terms thereof.
