Even though there are multiple Gods in the Hindu religion. Most people are devoted and pray to one god. Some of the more common gods are Shiva, Vishnu and the Goddess. Everyone acknowledges all of the gods.

Shiva

Shiva is the sect that imitates him. Kapalikas carries a skull to reenact the myth that Shiva beheaded his father (Brahma) and was condemned to carry the skull until he found release in Benares.
