TIPS FOR SUCCESS IN SCHOOL

Use one notebook/binder with a folder for assignments and dividers for graded work. Write down all assignments in an agenda which should be kept in your notebook.1Log on to www.asdk12.org for information about homework.

  • Bring materials to class and home.
  • Check notebook every night.
  • Do every assignment.
  • Turn every assignment in.
  • Organize your notebook once a week.
  • Get help at lunch or after school as needed.
  • Do not throw any papers away until you have checked your grade at the quarter.

    • Other Useful Information for Parents

  • Ask your child to get a teacher's signature on the agenda.
  • Check progress reports.
  • Attend after-school tutoring from 2:50-3:50 (check with your child's counselor for room).
  • Call the teams during their team planning time.
