Assignment: Working on your own, choose from the mini-projects
in the pattern of a tic-tac-toe design.
You must go through the center square, and you must win
tic-tac-toe. All students will also receive points for returning the
Notification of Project form. You
may do ONE extra task for extra
credit. All extra credit
tasks are due on 11/13/09. THIS PAPER MUST BE TURNED IN

Build a three dimensional Bohr model of an atom,
including all nucleons and electrons in their orbitals. Your atom must be from the third period
or later and include a key.
|
1. Celebrity Cards

did not cover in class. Include
readings, important vocabulary, and practice problems. Topics may include organic chemistry, fission, fusion,
radioactivity, etc.
|

Using the template from Mrs. Bascom, construct an
element ball, with a different fact about your element on each face of the
element ball. |
1. Crossword Puzzle

covalent bonds, ions, compounds, writing chemical formulas, physical vs.
chemical changes, mixtures, balancing chemical equations, the periodic table,
