ROMIG MIDDLE SCHOOL PHYSICAL EDUCATION

Today's generation of American children are less fit and more fat than ever. Some 67% of our kids have 3 or more risk factors for heart disease, our country's #1 killer. Establishing lifetime habits of aerobic exercise in the early years can help children reduce their risk while reaping a host of other physical and emotional benefits.

As a parent, you are your child's first and best teacher. Attitudes and habits learned at home will affect your child's health for a lifetime. You work hard to safeguard your child against current health problems. You can also take action now to protect your child from diseases that may be a threat in the future. Heart disease, the #1 killer of Americans, has its roots in the behaviors and habits learned in childhood. We appreciate your willingness to work with us as
we work together with your children.
