5/13: Tazlina Team to Bear's Tooth: Free Movie - Bring money for lunch and snacks.

All the Tazlina Team students will have the opportunity to go to the Bear Tooth Theatre on May 13th. Please complete the permission slip if you have not already done so. The movie is free, so bring money to buy lunch or goodies! School is not over! Students must come to class with materials, and complete all assignments.

Language Arts - Mr. Aleksich
Language arts instruction this week will focus on a business letter unit. Next, we will begin reviewing for our language arts final exam that will take place on May 20th and 21st. In addition, the top 10 students with the most points on Accelerated Reader will be going on a Field trip at the Bear's Tooth on May 15th

Social Studies - Mrs. Howard
On Monday, we will finish the movie on Antarctica, then label & color a map of the coldest, windiest and driest continent on earth. Tues. we will be at the Bear Tooth, Wed. & Thur. we'll complete an Antarctica worksheet. Students will then prepare for a final assessment. A progress report will go home on Friday and a final grade will come home next Thursday.

Science - Mr. Johannes
This week in science students will study life. What makes an organism a living thing and the needs of all living things. It has been a busy year and we will wrap up next week studying rainforest challenges.

Math - Mrs. Drumm
This week in Math students will be writing a short paper on a famous mathematician. We will be in the computer lab most of the week with the paper due on Friday. Friday we will begin studying for Finals, which are May 20th and 21st.
