The first draft of your group's four-minute speech for the Simulated Congressional Hearings is due: March 31

 

The first draft must be typed in Times New Roman, Helvetica, or Courier, size 12, double-spaced. The title page must include: Topic of the Speech, Group Member Names, Date, and Class Period. The first page of the speech should begin with the speech topic number title and questions. FYI- a four-minute speech equals 2.5 - 3 pages. The final page should be a bibliography page (MLA style). (35 points)

 

The final draft is due: April 13
Print one copy for each group member and one to be turned in and graded.

Simulated Congressional Hearings formal clothing information (Worth 10 points)
The idea here is clothing which would be worn if testifying before the U.S. Congress.

 

Males- Ideal: business suit

If you or your parents have questions about the clothing requirement, please contact Mrs. Grib PRIOR to the hearings! On the day of the hearings there will be approximately 10 jackets (some men's, some women's) available for use.
