Prevention

 

During the spill the Exxon Valdez  was stuck in Prince William's Sounds, the Exxon Valdez transferred the remaining oil from the Exxon Valdez to prevent anymore oil spilling into the water. The Exxon Valdez transferred about 37.3 million gallons of oil to the Exxon Baton Rouge.
