The Bering Land Bridge, also called Beringia, appeared when a lot of the ocean water got caught up in glaciers during many periods during the Ice Ages. The land formed turned into a great land bridge, connecting Siberia to Alaska. The first peoples of America crossed this bridge.

In the last century, the average global temperature has gone up about one degree, accelerating in the past two decades. The main problem is the greenhouse effect.
Global warming and the Bering Sea Land Bridge are related because the Ice Age ended as a result of global warming. When the Ice Age ended, the water came from the melted glaciers, and went to the sea, causing the sea level to rise and swallow up Beringia.
