Moon bears are just yet another endangered animal in Asia. These amazing creatures are farmed all over Asia. Cubs are sold to the sadistic farmers for quite the low price of two hundred-eighty dollars to four hundred dollars. These poor creatures are raised and then killed for their bile. North America, South America, and endless countries in Asia also kill moon bears for gall bladders. Their paws have been taken for disgusting soups. Bear parts are exported to Japan, the Philippine Islands, the country of Korea, the city of Hong Kong, Taiwan, and the small country of Singapore.
The bile is used for holistic practice and for making medicine. The people of China believe that wild moon bear bile is most potent. The bile of these poor creatures is smuggled to TMC pharmacies in Asia. Still today there are only about forty thousand moon bears left.
