Fortunately, China's government is trying to save these beautiful and terrific animals. In Chengdu, rehabilation camps for the bears are popping up all over the place. Many of the bears coming from the farms die. Others show up in really poor conditions.

The bears that survive the farms' poor treatment are placed in amazing enclosures. The bears act like never ending barrels of fun in the camps. Some bears play with colorful toys. Others have great fun wrestling with each other. Also many enjoy eating the daily meal. After the moon bears eat they lay on their backs to ask for a refreshing cool shower. After a day of rolling on the ground flailing their legs in the air, the bears will sleep soundly in their dens. Then the workers, when the bears go to sleep, put their toys away.
