Legend and myth are also a good part of Mongolia's cultural ways. Uligr is a story that tells why something it the way it is. Some of the stories are about love, like Angara, Daughter of Baikal. The story tells about a girl named Angara and lives with her father, Baikal, who is the master spirit of the lake. She falls in love with a boy named Yenisey. They promised to marry each other and keep it a secret. Yesisey gave Angara a white dove as a gift.
