Chinese and Indian women are alike in many ways and different in very many ways. They have slightly different rules that they must abide by in their own countries of China and India. Chinese people have a code of conduct that must be followed by everyone and Indian women just have a way that they act and follow without argument. Both Chinese women and Indian women have things that they do that no other culture of type of people do. For example the women of India all wear a "tilak" which represents their own martial status. They also wear what is called a sari, it is the main clothing line in India. People in other countries and of other cultures wear something that is almost like a sari but not quite as decorative. In China on the other hand they are more careless with their clothing and rarely get dressed up more then usual. Women in neither countries have the right to own their own property and have the right to keeping their own maiden names.
