A snow leopard has a land range of 2,700 to 6,000 meters ( 8,860 to 19,700 feet) in the summer. A snow leopard has usually two to three cubs a litter. The snow leopard has a pale-gray coat with small black spots. the snow leopard has two layers of fur. The first layer is a thick soft underfur that is covered by the second layer that is thick with long fur. The snow leopard has been hunted so much for their fur that they are now on the endangered species list. The snow leopard's nickname is the Panthera-uncia.

The alpine ibex is a type of goat that lives in the Himalayas. the alpine ibex stands 65 to 105 centimeters ( 26 to 41 inches) tall. The male's horns get to be 70 to 140 centimeters ( 28 to 55 inches) long. The females horns are smaller. Their fur varies from a reddish-brown to a brownish-gray. Males associate with other males in herds of 10 to 20. The same goes for the females. The males and females only join herds during mating season. The alpine ibex has been known for its ability to jump from rock to rock like a mountain goat. The alpine ibex has been severly hunted but isn't on the endangered list of species.
