In designing this beautiful Taj, it cost 32 million rupees. Ustad 'Isa, the architect of all time employed many expert craftsmen from Central Asia. Craftsmen from Baghdad, Shiraz, and Bukhara also did many tasks. The raised platform which is raised 186 by186 feet, and had four corners cut for an unequal octagon. The design is a interlocking arabesque concept, which means each part stands by itself, but it also perfectly fits into the hole. Everything in the design is completely symmetrical.

The Mausdeum, which is the huge tomb, is part of a group of buildings with a main gateway, a garden,a guest house, and other royal buildings. This is built on a high sandstone base. On the sandstone is a huge white marble terrace, where the dome sits, with two marets on each of the corners. Lying behind the Taj Mahal is the Jamuna river. The gorgeous garden has four reflecting pools which divide the the garden at the center. Each of those four go into four again, and each again. This great beauty in India is named one of the seven wonders of the world, and maybe someday you will hopefully see it!!!
