Also known as "Sanatana Dharma",
Hinduism is the world's most ancient culture and the religion
of almost 900 million followers of the earth's people. Though
the majority of the followers are Indian (about 80%), Hinduism
claims adherents from almost every nationality, race and ethnic
group in the world, including an ever-increasing number of Americans.
It is a dominant religion in India, Nepal, and the Tamils in SriLanka.
There are approximately two million followers in America, of which
roughly half come from India and half (one million) are non-Indian
Americans (Hispanics, Caucasians, African-Americans, etc.). Hindusim
represents much more than just a religion. It provides its followers
with an entire way of life with a view of clear reality.
