MISCELLANEOUS

Nancy enjoys living in The Pioneers' Home. She first went in to senior housing in 1986, and in 1991 she moved to the Palmer Pioneers' Home for four years. Currently, she is living in Anchorage Pioneers' Home and has lived there for almost one year.

In October she will have lived in Alaska for forty-five years. She is seventy two years old as of April 10,1996 . Her two younger brothers are still alive. She is a very devoted senior companion at The Pioneers' Home. She has lived through World War 2, the Korean War, and Vietnam. Her two children, Jeff (43 years of age) and Kathi (36 Years of age) are still living. She believes her accomplishments are having two kids and five grandchildren. She thinks of herself as a true pioneer of Alaska.

In her forty- five years in Alaska, she can only rember a very few Christmases without snow.
