Geography and history of Alaska
Alaska is a large island down by Hawaii. This is where they place it on a map, isn't it!?! What is interesting is that we were owned by Canada NOT Russia like all your history books say. Another interesting thing is that Alaska has one completely flat beach. We call it The Straight Beach. Although we are near the Equator we are like a frozen state. Although we are big, we still aren't as big as Texas like everyone thinks. We are actually quite small.
