Graduation Requirements
 
 
Curriculum:  Service High School offers a comprehensive curriculum including honors courses, Advanced Placement (AP) courses, remedial courses, career technology courses, cooperative work experience, Socratic seminars, special education services, and Community Involvement.
 
 
Smaller Learning Communities & Special Programs:  The Seminar School, Freshman Academy, Advancement Via Individual Determination (A.V.I.D.), Discovery Academy, Leadership Academy, and Biomedical Career Academy
 
 
Credit by Choice Program (PDF) is designed to give students the opportunity to choose enriching learning experiences tailored to their personal educational needs and to have them recorded on their high school transcript. This program is open to high school students currently enrolled in the Anchorage School District.  It includes Educational Travel, Correspondence Courses, College Course Work, Early College Admissions Program, Credit by Examination, Community Service and Field Study/Physical Education Waiver, and High School Credit for Middle School Courses.
