After serving as the PTSO President since South opened its door four years ago, Bo Seward is “moving on” from high school at the end of this year.  Her dedication, time, intelligence, leadership and insight will be greatly missed.  In recognition of Bo’s commitment to South Anchorage High School and the Community, the South PTSO board has established The Bo Seward Community Service Award, to be presented to a graduating senior in recognition of their outstanding community service.  This award will be an annual award starting in the spring of 2009.  It will include a monetary award to the student with a matching gift to be given to a charity of the student’s choice.

Register Now for South Football's Annual Golf Scramble!!!  Friday, June 6, 12:00 noon-5:00pm, to be followed by a Hawaiian Luau buffet and tons of prizes!  This year we made some exciting positive changes by reducing the fees to $125 per player and $500 per team; scheduling it for an afternoon so it's warmer; and scheduling it on a Friday so everyone can get off work early and play a little golf before taking off for the weekend. Call or email Rose Colbern (348-0541; colbern@ak.net) or Rhonda Gerharz (345-4377; ojtgerharz@gci.net) for more information and registration forms.  Coach Lewis also has forms.
