PTSO Meeting – 6:00pm/Library

*****As many of you know, there were many problems at the MORP dance last Saturday regarding dress code issues, inappropriate dancing and other disciplinary issues. These issues need to be resolved in our school and it will take time for the seriousness of this issue to be promoted to the student body. As a result, the Sadie Hawkins dance scheduled for next Friday is cancelled. This behavior will no longer be tolerated at school dances and we are hoping to create a positive atmosphere for dances to come. Prom is still scheduled to happen on March 31. There will be more information regarding new dance rules as they are determined.

The written portion of the Lifetime Personal Fitness test is tomorrow, Thursday, during lunch in the C118 pc computer lab. Please sign up with your counselor. 

College Goal Sunday – college bound seniors –Free help to file the FAFSA is available Sunday, February 12^th beginning at 2:00pm at Bartlett and Service. For more information on College Goal Sunday go to C225.

Do you think you have what it takes to be South’s next top model? The SAHS Fashion Club is hosting their third annual fashion show and is in need of confident and outgoing students to strut their stuff on the runway! Auditions will be held at 2:30 Feb. 2^nd and Feb. 3^rd. Choose either of those two days to audition. Judging is based solely on stage presence, attitude and charisma. Regardless whether you are tall, short, big or small, come out to audition!

Third Session KCC Schedule: January 23 through March 28. Classes are held Monday –Thursday of each week.

January 24 – February 9 Mini-Session One occurs. February 2 there is no class.

February 13 – March 1 Mini-Session Two occurs. February 16 there is no class (Parent-Conferences) and February 20 there is no class (Presidents Day)

March 5 – March 28 Mini-Session Three occurs. March 8- 15 there is no class (Spring Break)
