All boys interested in trying out for soccer need to attend a short meeting in Rm. B208 (across from the weight room) today at 10:30am.

 

Other News:

A Volunteer Fair will be held on Thursday, November 19th at 5 PM in the Commons, sponsored by the PTSO.  There will be representatives from many of the nonprofit organizations in town who have need of high school volunteers. If parents or students have questions about any of the volunteer opportunities available in Anchorage, this would be the place to ask your questions!  Pizza and beverages will be available.

 

The Gifted Mentorship Program deadline for applying for the 2nd semester is this Friday, 11/20.  Download an application from the district's website or pick one up in the library.  Ms. Wiley will be at SAHS on Mondays during lunch and after school to pick up applications and discuss the program with students.

 

South is sponsoring the University of Houston for the Great Alaskan ShootoutThe Tourney runs from Nov. 24-28.   Students can purchase $10 punch cards good for any 3 sessions, (6 games) other than the championship session on Saturday.  Tickets are on sale before and after school in H208, only until Friday.

 

Attention Seniors!  If you purchased a senior ad, your pictures are due by Nov. 20th. Turn in photos to Mr. Lynn’s room, G212, at lunch or after school only! If you do not give us your pictures, you ad will NOT be printed. Refunds will NOT be given!!! Please see a yearbook student or Mr. Lynn for more information.

 

Girls Basketball Clinic:  Thursday and Friday this week from 5:00-7:00pm in the main gym. Any girls interested in playing this year are encourage to participate.
