  ++ Indicates out sourced sport. No activitiy fee collected at the school. Fees will be paid directly to the coach.

South Anchorage has a Turnagain Arms Bus Coordinator, Ms. Sylvia Whipple. Please contact her at 742-6352 for questions regarding transportation for your student involved in an after school activity if you reside in the Turnagain Arm Area.
Bring the following:

  1. ASD Health Examination Form signed by doctor, student & parent/guardian. Physical must be good through the entire length of the activity.
  2. 2011-2012 High School Athletic/Activity Participation Form signed by student & parent/guardian
  3. Cash or check payable to SAHS

Please note the below changes in activity fees for the 2011-2012 school year:

Tennis, Cross Country Running, Cheerleading, Track and Field, Drama Debate/Forensics $175 per Activity
Flag Football, Volleyball, Cross Country Skiing, Football, Wrestling, Basketball, Rifle, Soccer $185 per Activity
Gymnastics, Swimming and Diving, Hockey $195 per Activity

2011-2012 Family Cap - $390
High School Fees may be combined with Middle School Fees

 

4. TAD (Tobacco, Alcohol and Drug)Play for Keeps Policy DVD viewed and Parent/Student Acknowledgement Form signed. Can be viewed online at www.asaa.org.

  • Athletes must be enrolled in at least 5 ASD classes to participate in sports
  • 4th quarter 2nd semester grades will be verified for: 2.0 GPA minimum & 5 semester classes passed (this rule does not apply to incoming 9th graders until the end of 1st quarter)
  • Seniors who are on track to graduate (have passed all HSGQE exams and have at least 17.5 credits) may enroll in 4 classes first semester and enroll in 4 classes second semester (having passed 20.5 credits and passed all HSGQE Exams).
  • You must complete the eligibility process with the Activities Office before you are allowed to begin practice with any team.
