My name is Joel Roylance,
and I am pleased to be starting my 7th year as principal of Wendler
Middle School. Wendler is an excellent community that I
truly enjoy being a part of. The academic expectations
are high and Wendler is a safe, diverse and effective school. I
truly do have one of the best jobs ever and love coming here
every day.
My roots in Anchorage
run deep and I remember growing up here in Anchorage and competing
with students from Wendler in athletic and academic pursuits. I
have three children that attend public schools in Anchorage
currently and I am committed to making Wendler, this community,
ASD and Anchorage even better places than they currently are.
