Juried by Z. Denise Gallup
Art needs to ask questions and create communication between the artist and the viewer. I looked for pieces that have qualities of mystery, storytelling and ambiguities. Skill is important but so is innovation and creating something that makes the viewer look twice at an art work. I looked for art that made me ask questions about the piece and the artist. I hope that all of you keep working and asking your own questions.
