Today’s News:
Come audition for John Steinbeck's "Of Mice and Men" today after school in the Auditorium. This is an outstanding story which will require dedicated actors. We are especially looking for men. You will need a 1 minute monologue. (2/10)
If you want to get involved in acting , but want to start off easy, why not come audition for the student directed One Acts!? February 13th after school in room 48 is the place to be. Come with some sort of prepared spoken piece of not more than 1 minute. (2/10)
An Emergency Trauma Technician (ETT) class will be offered after school @ East High beginning Tuesday, Feb 21 @ 2:15. The ETT class will be from 2:15-5:00 Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. This is a life science credit course with the opportunity for 3 UAA career tech credits and/or a State of Alaska ETT Certification (good for 2 years).

If you signed up for Read Across America during a National Honor Society meeting, but have not come to the Library to see Mr. Curran, you need to do so by Monday. If you have seen Mr. Curran about Read Across America, remember that our “training day” is next Tuesday , after lunch, 4th and 5th hours. (2/10)
This week’s Global Lunch features exchange students from Italy, Cameroon, Indonesia, and Mexico who will talk about life in their home countries and what West looks like from their perspectives. Everyone is invited to come to the Cove today for lunch to learn about the world. (2/10)
