We took a trip to the museum. At the museum there was a model of an Aleut village. They used plastic for the water. They used little Aleut figures for the people.

We also saw baskets made out of rye ,grass and thread. I think it would be hard to make because of all the time it would take up ,one of the baskets at the museum was made on Attu island the last island in the Aleution Chain.

We also saw a mask made by Ferd Anderson in 1974. It's made out of wood, leather, hair, paint and tacks.

There were also things we got to touch and feel like otter fur, seal fur, an Aleut hunting hat, and a seal gut parka.

There was a model of a woman making a pillow. It looked like they made a house and cut it in half.
