The museum I went to is where I learned about hunting tools and about baskets. All of the Athabascan tools were in glass cases. The museum that I went to is cool.

Hunting knives usually have very sharp blades. The case usually is made of leather.Usually it has beads on it. The Athabascan also put real nice designs on it.

The spear is made with very strong wood. The spear has a very sharp arrow head on the end of it. They use it for hunting whales, otters and sea lions.

The Athabascan quiver is made of leather. Quivers were made of caribou and moose leather. The quiver usual has a lot of beads on it. The quiver is used to hold and carry bows and arrows for hunting moose and caribou. A quiver might be as long as 18".
Athabascan tools were made from stone, bone and antler. These tools were used to modify skins and wood.

Some Athabascan baskets are made from caribou hide. The caribou is usual sewed very tightly together. They put nice designs on it.

The ladles they use are very wide. The ladles are made of sheep horn. The handle is not caribou it is made of wood.

The crochet hook is very beautiful. The crochet hook has nice feathers and porcupine quill bead work like a lot of other stuff they use to make.
