Anchorage, Alaska
This is our town. The Anchorage School
District wants all 2nd graders to learn more about Anchorage.
We will be studying maps about our city and state and learning
about the interesting places to see and visit, such as Downtown
Anchorage, The Anchorage Museum, The Alaska Railroad, and the
Anchorage International Airport.
Anchorage also has many interesting
geographical features, including Cook Inlet, Westchester Lagoon,
Potter Marsh, The Chugach Mountains, Eagle River and Portage Glacier.
