A Class Project Using PowerPoint

Each student will be assigned one topic (a person or invention) to research. Put your information into PowerPoint using the format below and when everyone is finished, you will be presenting your short slide show to the class using the SmartBoard.

1st Slide

2nd Slide

• In WordArt--Date of person's birth and death or date of invention (2 pts.)
• Tell what the person did or what the invention was (3 pts.)
• Picture--different from the one on the title slide (2 pts.)

3rd Slide

• Provide details of the person or invention (5 pts.)
• Picture--different from the other pictures (2 pts.)

4th Slide

• Bibliography (5 pts.)--For each website:
  • Include the name of each website, organization, affiliate, etc.
  • Cite the complete URL of the website
  • Create a hyperlink to each website

All Slides Must Have

• Slide Backgrounds (2 pts.)
• Slide transitions--on mouse click (4 pts.)
• Animations--all text and pictures animated automatically (4 pts.)
