Family iMovie

You will be creating an iMovie about your family. This is very much like the Family PowerPoint assignment, except you will be using iMovie. You will need pictures of your family* instead of video (unfortunately, we do not have time to use video).

You must have information on 5 family members, one of whom is YOU! Family is considered as parents, siblings, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, pets, etc.). You must include the person's name and 3 facts about them, as follows:

  1. Who is the person in relation to you? (mother, brother, cousin, dog, etc.)
  2. An interesting fact--not just "She is nice" but "She bakes the best chocolate chip oatmeal macademia nut cookies for me."
  3. Another interesting fact of your choice.

Here is how you will be graded:

Named properly 5
Movie title (with your name, too) 5
5 (or more) digital pictures 10
3 facts per person (inserted as titles) 5
One special effect per picture 5
One transition per picture 5
TOTAL POINTS 35

*Real pictures of family members are preferable and may be emailed, brought in on a cd or memory card, or scanned (during lunch).
