Bienvenidos, Bienvenue, and Wilkommen to my homepage! I invite you to make use of this site to keep informed of your student's experiences and progress in my class. On this site, you can read about upcoming special events. You may also take advantage of my online grade system which I attempt to update at the beginning of each week. Simply click on the link, scroll down to your student's class, and type in his or her last name. Your student has a password that has been generated by the district and is used for grade access in most classes. Please click on my e-mail link to the left if you would like me to send you the password directly. Also, please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns as we partner toward your student's success. The above photo was taken during a break in a long day of hiking around Machu Picchu. In March of '07, eleven level four Spanish language students accompanied Doña Rosa, her husband Ernesto Macedo, and me on a nine day excursion through Peru. The scenery was nothing less than breathtaking, the food was exotic, and the genuine hospitality of the Peruvian people was beyond compare. It truly was an adventure of a lifetime! German language students will have the opportunity to take part in our second German American Partnership Program exchange with the students of the Ökumenisches Gymnasium zu Bremen in northern Germany. Frau Adams and I are currently looking for families to host the fifteen German students who will be arriving in Anchorage this coming March 1st for their three week Alaskan adventure. Consider having your student join me in May when I lead our group over to Bremen on our three week tour. Simply email me for details.
