Advanced Dancer Work Ethics

This class is the Advanced Dance class. You as students of this class

represent the best dancers at West High! Your behavior in class

should reflect the work ethics of a responsible trained dancer. These

work ethics include many success oriented behaviors such as:

1. Come to class on time, get ready as quickly as possible

and go to the dance floor to do a self warm up without any delay.

(A responsible trained dancer is self disciplined and does not need

to be reminded by their teacher!)

2. Wear the proper dance attire:

Leotards, tights, Jazz pants, dance shoes, (no street shoes) hair up.

3. A responsible dancer would NEVER TALK DURING CLASS!!!!

4. A responsible dancer would ATTEND all classes unless ill and

participate to his/her best ability the whole class. If absent, you

may not be placed in the choreography worked on during your absence.

5. Never have gum or candy in their mouth during class.

6. Clean up after yourself in the dressing area when finished.

7. Be respectful, caring and supportive of the others in the class.

Keeping any conflicts or disagreements outside of class!
