Kids Health for Parents: This link takes you directly to the Infections page. There are about 80 different infections listed here under categories like respiratory, ear, and eye. Also use the Additional Resources tab on the right hand side of your article.
Mayo Clinic: Type the name of the disease into the SEARCH box and see what comes back. These sites are divided up into different sections. Make sure you use the links at the bottom of the paragraph to get to the next section.
Healthfinder.gov: A site from the Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion of the U.S. government. Again use the search box at the top and type in the name of the disease.
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention: THE authority on everything catchy! This link takes you directly to the Diseases and Conditions page. Click on a letter of the alphabet to find your disease.
Consumer Health: This link takes you to the Alaska Digital Pipeline website. Click on Health in the middle of the orange square and then click on Consumer Health. This is a collection of magazine, newspaper, and journal articles, plus medical reference books and pamphlets. Use the search box or click on a letter of the alphabet under the heading Quick Find, which is on the right side at the top.
