The mission of the Anchorage School District IGNITE Program is to enrich students' learning through the exploration of critical and creative thinking skills. The students in the IGNITE Program will explore the following learning areas during the school year: *Enrichment opportunities *In-Depth Studies *Complexity/Novelty of Interests & Passions *Multiple Intelligences *Social/Emotional Intelligences *Stimulate Abilities *Become Risk-Takers with their learning *Creativity *Leadership The Ignite Program at North Star serves five schools: North Star Elementary, Fairview Elementary, Lake Otis, Russian Jack, and William Tyson Elementary.
