My name is Annette Johansen. I am a registered nurse with a masters degree of education in school nursing and also a nationally certified school nurse. The 2011-2012 school year will be my tenth year with the Anchorage School District. I am formerly an elementary school nurse and now have been the school nurse at East High, Anchorage's largest school serving over two thousand students and over 180 staff members for the past six years.
My office hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM until 2:30 PM. I plan to use this page to inform you of crisis information, health services policies, infection control, kids health, nutrition, first-aid, parental concerns, resources and anything else I believe is pertinent to optimal health. I invite suggestions, questions, comments, and feedback. Please check back often as my website will be updated periodically.
