What are the consequences for not implementing my student’s
IEP’s?
IDEA is a federal law.
Implementation of all services identified in the
student’s IEP is
required.
When assigned specific responsibilities in an IEP, refusing or neglecting
to implement specific responsibilities in an IEP can expose the District
to legal action.
In certain circumstances, you could also be exposed to liability,
both personally and professionally.
