Additionally, there are a variety of levels and types of comprehension that occur when reading These include, but are not limited to: recalling facts, sequencing events, inferring information, determining main ideas, drawing conclusions, and predicting outcomes. If students have to focus energy on paying attention to the task, remembering what has been read, struggling with decoding words, or has difficulty understanding the meaning of the words, then comprehension of the material will be extremely difficult. Computer applications can be used to assist students in analyzing what has been read or in recording the information. It can also be used to help student sort out and organize the facts into chunks of information that will be more understandable. |
