Meant to Be by Melody Carolson Jenette Northey 7 Teal Meant to Be by Melody Carolson is a book about a teenage girl named Kim Peterson.  Kim's mom has just found out she has stage four ovarian cancer and the odd's are she won't survive it.  This is a great book about what Kim wrote in her diary in this milestone of her life.
The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan Name Withheld 7 Teal The book was about a boy who found out he was a half-blood (half god, half human).  He then had to go on a huge quest to get Zeus' lightning bolt back to him.  Does he finish the quest?  Read the book and find out!  9/19/07
Garden of Angels by Lurlene McDaniel Name Withheld 7 Teal I like it because it is a sad book and I love sad books.  I love Lurlene McDaniel's books because of the way she puts her stories together like she tells the story and at the end the person the story is about either gets better or passes on but in a great and happy way.  9/19/07
A Child Called "It" by Dave Pelzer Name Withheld 7 Teal It's about a boy that's trying to survive from his mother that beats him.  I liked that this is a true story so that when people read it they can understand what kids really go through.  9/19/07
If We Kiss by Rachel Vail Name Withheld 7 Teal This book is a really good book about a girl named Charlie, her best friend Tess, and a boy named Kevin.  This book just keeps you on your feet all the time and teaches you the meaning of an awesome friendship but with some "twists"!  9/19/07
Island Series by Gordon Korman Anna Greene 7 Teal This series is really good.  If you like adventure, this is for you.  It's about a group of kids that get left to die on a deserted island somewhere near Japan & Guam.  Read it and find out the rest.  9/13/07
The Book Thief by Markus Zusak Anna Greene 7 Teal This book is great!  It's about a girl who steals and writes books.  It is narrated by Death himself, adding the suspense.  The Book Thief lives under the reign of Hitler and is in a foster home.  This book is excellent and I suggest it to "mature" readers.  9/13/07
