Hello parents and students,

     I am again teaching the 5/6 combination class here at Mountain View. I feel my sixth graders have an edge in that they were exposed to much of the sixth grade curriculum last year. I have high hopes and above average expectations.

     We have such a positive flow between faculty this year with two new teachers in the intermediate grade wing. We all realize that students learn more than just reading and writing in school; they also learn how to get along with one another.

     I encourage parents to motivate their children to accomplish homework. I will call home in addition to providing progress reports.
