| Students make SWS what it is. SWS draws a diverse and interesting (eclectic?) group of students. Some students get very involved in SWS through the Student Advisory Board (SAB) or volunteering to help with events. Some students are also very involved with East activities like sports, clubs, and fine arts. By sharing core classes as freshman and sophomores and participating in SWS activities our students get to know each other well. |

SAB elections are held in the spring for 10th, 11th, and 12th graders. 9th graders elect SAB representatives in the fall. SAB meets every Tuesday at lunch. All SWS students are welcome, but only SAB members vote. Ideally there is at least one SAB representative in each advisory class. |
