At the bottom of that page, is a link to 'Proceed to Registration' at which step you will need to create a userid and a password.
On your myASD page, I would suggest signing up for three items:
1) select your student's classes. Note that if you have more than one child in school, you can include all of them here. You will not be swamped with e-mails - all messages come bundled in one e-mail that comes out at about 5:30 pm.
Teachers - I would include my own classes, plus a couple of others, just to see how it works.
2) Choose you school e-mail distribution list. This will be for school-wide information. Currently at SAHS, we are only doing one or two messages a month. If it becomes too much, you can always unsubscribe.
3) I would at least sign up for the school closure report. You will get an e-mail as soon as the radio stations do if schools are ever closed for a snow day!
4) Note that this link will take the parent directly to the teacher's ASD page.
5) This link will take the parent directly to the class page.
6) Log out. You are done
