The results posted on the Anchorage Nordic Club web page are broken up by team (A, B, C, etc.) Often coaches wish to have a single list of skiers from their school, in order by time. This can be used for deciding on the next week's entries, and can also be archived for team statistics.
Detailed instructions - These instructions were created on a Macintosh with screenshots to illustrate it with Excel 2004. The procedure is almost exactly the same on Windows computers. Excel 2007/2008 have newer 'menus' but will otherwise work in the same way.
