This is my 10h year with the Anchorage School District. I have experience at the primary and intermediate grades, as well
as a special
ed teacher and middle school technology coordinator. I'm very happy to be a part of the Educational Technology Department.
It's exciting to be
a part of the continuing growth of
integrating technology into all of the curriculum areas!
This year I am working on an Action Plan with teachers at Lake Hood Elementary. There are 10 teachers that are participating in an alternative assessment that focuses on 21st Century Skills and integrating technology into the curriculum. I am also teaching a new class that I designed over the summer, "Using The Internet For Communication. Click on the class link on the right to learn more about it.
When I'm not teaching or working with computers, my family and I are enjoying the beautiful outdoors that Alaska has to
offer.
