Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE)
The Western Undergraduate Exchange is a program of the Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education (WICHE). Students who are residents of WICHE states may enroll at participating two- and four-year college programs outside of their home state at a reduced tuition rate. WICHE states include: Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washinton, Wyoming. College Rep visits are open to all grades. They are usually held in the Career Resource Center at Lunch time. This is a great opportunity to make a connection to a staff person at the college, ask questions and learn which schools may be best suited to their needs. Students can bring their lunch in to the CRC and eat while they are listening. The listing below is updated frequently so be sure to check back often or check the bulletin board outside the CRC for scheduled visits.
College Planning Sessions at South High School - Open to all grades. The South High Counseling staff will be offering three sessions, one per quarter. First Quarter session - Tuesday, September 27, 2011; Second Quarter Session - Tuesday, October 25, 2011; Third Quarter Session - Tuesday, February 28, 2012.
